Haier Central Pulse

Haier Appliances is delighted to be the major sponsor of the Central Pulse Netball Team. The Haier Central Pulse is tipped as a team on the rise in the Trans-Tasman ANZ Championship this season and have shown great potential in recent matches. Haier Appliances are right behind the Pulse as they endeavour to climb up the standings in the competition through the 2010 season and beyond.

Under head coach Yvette McCausland-Durie, the Haier Pulse has confirmed major new signings, such as international players Jane Altschwager of Australia and Ama Agbeze of England. New Silver Ferns signing for 2010: Katrina Grant set to team up with current Silver Ferns Paula Griffin and Camilla Lees.

Technical advisor Waimarama Taumaunu, of Silver Ferns fame (1981 - 1991), will stay with the Haier Pulse after being appointed the position late in the season last year. Taumaunu is currently Silver Ferns' assistant coach under head coach Ruth Aitken.

Bridget Abernethy, Central Pulse CEO says that the team has secured world-class athletes this year and now, with Haier, a world-class sponsorship programme as well.
