Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and receive the prize forms a part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Terms and conditions apply to the use of Prezzy® Cards and can be found at www.prezzycard.co.nz.

Who can enter

Entry is only open to New Zealand residents 18 years and over who have received an invitation to submit a review of one or more Haier Product(s) (Product Review) and participate in the Promotion in an email from the Promoter dated from 1 July 2024 (Offer Email). The Promotion is only available to the individual named in the Offer Email and not any other person. Any reviews of Haier products that have been solicited other than through the Offer Email including from retailers are not eligible to enter this promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin.

Promotional period

The promotion commences at 12:01am (NZDT) on 1 July 2024 and closes at the promoter’s discretion. Entries must be received by the Promoter by 11.59pm (NZDT) on the final day of the promotion. Any entries received after this date will be ineligible. Winners will be drawn monthly, and the winner notified by email.

Entries must be received within the Promotional Period. Entries received outside this period will be ineligible.

How to enter

To enter, simply complete all mandatory questions in the Product Review and tick the box to agree to the terms to go in the draw to win. If the Offer Email invites you to review more than one product, you will get an entry into the draw for each qualifying product reviewed.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring that complete and correct details are recorded on the Product Review form. This information will be used to contact the prize winners. Any cost associated with submitting the Product Review form is the entrant's responsibility.

There will be monthly prize draws. Each month, the winners will be the first five (5) valid entries drawn at random. All valid entries received by 11.59pm (NZDT) on the last day of the month will go in the draw to win a prize.

The winners will be notified in writing using the details listed on the winner's Product Review entry. If the winner cannot be contacted within 72 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next valid entry drawn at random.

Prizes

The winning entries will each receive one $200 Prezzy® Virtual Card.

The Promoter will contact the winners at the email address set out in the winner’s Product Review entry to arrange sending of the Prezzy® Virtual Card.

The Prezzy® Virtual Card is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

Redemption of the Prezzy® Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer, including any expiry date. Any unused balance of the Prezzy® Card after the expiry date will not be awarded as cash.

Prizes lost or misplaced will be forfeited and no cash will be provided in lieu.

General

All entries are subject to verification by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries (including contacting the place of purchase) and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Any misrepresentation or fraudulent information submitted by the entrant will disqualify the entry.

The Promoter reserves the right to withhold and / or refuse delivery of the gift card where it suspects that any false or fraudulent entry is being made or where an entry has been made which does not comply with these terms.

Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

The entrant is responsible for providing the correct address details.

The Promoter reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions without notice, to modify, reschedule or terminate the promotion or to modify or extend the closing date and criteria of the promotion at its discretion.

The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions. Entries are not transferrable or assignable.

The Promoter (or its associated or affiliated companies or third parties who have licensed its brands to the Promoter or contributed to the application) (Content Owner) own or license from third parties all application content. All application content remains the sole property of the applicable Content Owner and is protected under all relevant copyright, trade mark and other applicable laws. Nothing on the application should be construed as granting any license or rights to use or distribute any application content, without the Promoter’s express written agreement or of the other applicable Content Owner.

EXCEPT FOR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW, THE PROMOTER AND ITS RESPECTIVE BODIES CORPORATE (INCLUDING THEIR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS) AND FACEBOOK EXCLUDE ALL LIABILITY WHETHER ARISING IN TORT (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION NEGLIGENCE), CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY; OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOSS OF PROPERTY); WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE PROMOTION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WHERE ARISING OUT OF THE FOLLOWING: (A) ANY TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES OR EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION (WHETHER OR NOT UNDER THE PROMOTER'S CONTROL); (B) ANY THEFT, UNAUTHORISED ACCESS OR THIRD PARTY INTERFERENCE; (C) ANY ENTRY OR OFFER THAT IS LATE, LOST, ALTERED, DAMAGED OR MISDIRECTED (WHETHER OR NOT AFTER THEIR RECEIPT BY THE PROMOTER) DUE TO ANY REASON BEYOND THE REASONABLE CONTROL OF THE PROMOTER; (D) ANY VARIATION IN GIFT VALUE; (E) ANY TAX LIABILITY INCURRED BY AN ENTRANT; OR (F) PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OR USE OF A GIFT.

You accept the Prezzy® Card entirely at your own risk and indemnify the Promoter in respect of any claim for accident, injury or property damage that may occur in connection with the Prezzy® Card.

If any Prezzy® Card or part of a Prezzy® Card is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prezzy® Card with a Prezzy® Card of equal or greater value.

Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. If for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to Prezzy® Card suppliers associated with this promotion and as required, to regulatory authorities, or use such information to contact the entrant in relation to this promotion. If the claimant marks the applicable box, the Promoter and, if applicable, the Prezzy® Card Supplier may use the claimant's personal information for the purposes specified at the time of collection. Entrants should direct any requests to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All product reviews become the property of the Promoter.
