Sanitarium Weet-Bix™ Kids TRYathlon

Child celebrating while running in a TRYathlon event.

Helping Kiwi kids cross the finish line

At Haier, we're committed to more than just creating smart home appliances – we're passionate about fostering community spirit and promoting healthy lifestyles, especially among Kiwi kids. That's why we're grateful to have been a part of the Sanitarium Weet–Bix™ Kids TRYathlon journey for the past eight years, most recently as Proud Platinum partners. Our shared goal is simple: to help the kids of New Zealand have fun, get outdoors, and most importantly, cross the finish line with a sense of accomplishment.

Unforgettable TRYathlon Season 2022/2023

Haier Tent at Weet-Bix Tryathlon

With a schedule of 10 TRYathlons spread across the season, our commitment went beyond just sponsorship. We brought life to each event with a fun–filled Haier tent, featuring engaging activities and attractive prizes. And we didn't forget the adults! Parents and guardians could participate in a guessing game, estimating the number of appliances in a picture of a kitchen for a chance to win an entire Haier kitchen package. We're delighted to have played a part in creating memorable experiences for the whole family.

A fridge for the win

Participating in the TRYathlon came with an exciting perk – all TRYathletes were automatically entered into a draw to win a brand-new Haier Quad Door Refrigerator. During the prize-giving ceremony, it was great to see the excitement of the ten lucky winners who took home an appliance. The giveaway was our small way of saying 'Well done!' to the young TRYathletes for their effort and enthusiasm.

Kitchen makeover with Haier and The Hits

In a fun collaboration with The Hits radio station, we created the 'Rate my Kitchen' game. Listeners were invited to share a photo of their current kitchen. From these entries, one lucky winner was chosen to completely transform their kitchen with a full Haier kitchen package! This initiative was more than just a giveaway; it was our way of adding a touch of Haier comfort and convenience to someone's daily routine.
