Who can enter?

This promotion is only open to individuals who are New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, are ineligible for this promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin.

Promotional Period

The promotion commences NZST 12.01am 1 July 2023 and closes 11.59pm NZST 31 August 2023 ( Promotional Period ). You must still be signed up to the Haier newsletter for the duration of the Promotional Period.

Entries must be received within the Promotional Period. Entries received outside this period will be ineligible.

After the conclusion of the Promotional Period, the first 250 eligible entries will receive an email to confirm the required details for delivery. The Haier pizza stone will then be dispatched within 30 days after the completion of the delivery form. You must provide your contact details within 5 business days of receiving the email or we will deem the prize forfeited by you. The Promoter reserves the right to award any forfeited prize to another eligible entrant.

How to enter

To enter the promotion and be eligible to receive a free Haier pizza stone, you must, during the Promotional Period sign up for the Haier newsletter through the entry form with a valid email address during the Promotional Period. You are not permitted to use any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows you to automatically enter or enter repeatedly and you are responsible for any associated costs such as internet access. Entries are limited to one entry per household. Only the first 250 people to validly sign up to the Haier Newsletter will receive a pizza stone.

Promotional Offer

All valid entries received within the Promotional Period for the competition will go in the relevant draw to win the Prize.

The winner will be selected at random by the Promoter.

The winner of the competition will be announced on the Haier New Zealand Instagram page. The Promoters may also send an Instagram private message to the winner's Instagram account from the personal account of the Promoter's social media manager. Following the Instagram announcement, the winner will need to send a Facebook/Instagram private message to the Haier New Zealand Facebook or Instagram page with the winner's full contact details. This will enable the Promoter to supply the prize and will be deemed to be acceptance of the Prize. If the winner does not accept the prize within five (5) days of being notified, the prize will be forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right to award any forfeited prize to another eligible entrant and to modify the prize.

For the competition, Haier will contact the winner in order to facilitate the delivery of the prize.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs not specifically included in either prizes. For example, installation of the appliances, removal of any old appliances, or anything associated with running or maintaining the appliances, or any other additional charges, are the responsibility of the winner.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next valid entry drawn at random.

General

Winners take the prize at entirely their own risk. The Promoter will not be liable for any prize that is lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged and will not replace them. The Promotor will be responsible for any delivery costs but cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

The Promoter reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions without notice, to modify, reschedule or terminate the promotion or to modify or extend the closing date and criteria of the promotion at its discretion.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.

The Promoter's decision is final on all matters related to this promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.

Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected or illegible entries. Incomplete, illegible or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant; or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents), excludes all liability (including for negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected; (d) any variation in prize value; (e) any tax liability incurred by a entrant; or (f) participation in the promotion or use of a prize.

Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. If for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion.

The Promoter (or its associated or affiliated companies or third parties who have licensed its brands to the Promoter or contributed to the application) (Content Owner) own or license from third parties all application content. All application content remains the sole property of the applicable Content Owner and is protected under all relevant copyright, trademark and other applicable laws. Nothing on the application should be construed as granting any license or rights to use or distribute any application content, without the Promoter's express written agreement or of the other applicable Content Owner.

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to suppliers and any other suppliers associated with this promotion and as required, to regulatory authorities, or use such information to contact the entrant in relation to this promotion. The entry is conditional on providing this information. If the entrant marks the applicable box, the Promoter may use the entrant's personal information for the purposes specified at the time of collection. Entrants should direct any requests to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter. These Terms and Conditions are deemed to incorporate our privacy policy and by entering the promotion, you accept the terms and conditions of our privacy policy.
